CCM歌手兼词曲作者 Katy Weirich发布了她最新歌曲“Blue Jay”，歌中展示了她在与抑郁症斗争中得到的力量。
Weirich在她生第二个孩子后患上了严重的产后抑郁症，她回忆说那一种完全绝望的感觉。
“我差点住院，发作的时候我几乎要崩溃，我每天渴望能睡觉而不是醒来，”她解释道。这首歌讲述了她在艰难当中对上帝的恳求。
在她康复了很长一段时间后，她开始在日常活动中偶然看到Blue Jay冠蓝鸦，这让她看到了坚持下去的力量和鼓励。
Weirich康复后在苏格兰旅行时记得看到了一大群Blue Jay(冠蓝鸦)，这最终激发了她写这首歌的灵感。
她说Blue Jay(冠蓝鸦)对她来说意味着“来自上帝的拥抱和切实的提醒，祂看到了我在哪里，我必须继续前进，相信祂就在我身边，不会离开。”
随着 Weirich 实力的增强，这首歌的势头越来越大。“祢背着我，支撑着我。祢正在治愈我，我会自由的”她在歌曲的其余部分中充满信心地唱着。
通过这种方式，Blue Jay(冠蓝鸦)是生活斗争和在黑暗中坚守信念的真实代表。
Weirich 不会掩饰痛苦，但她也不会忽视奇迹。她分享说，当她旅行回来时，她翻到了日历上的下一页，上面有一张她刚刚访问过的苏格兰确切地点的照片。

Weirich 将蓝鸟的故事和经文编织到歌曲中，她解释说很多灵感来自约伯，她希望“展示上帝的属性”，即“El Roi”，意思是“看到我的上帝”。
